Seniors Living at Home, Family Care

Just as teens are anxious to gain independence from their parents, retired individuals fight to keep their independence as long as possible. As humans, we all want to make our own decisions and provide for ourselves without unduly relying on others. It’s personal.
But as we get older, it becomes more difficult and we may reluctantly accept additional help. Unfortunately, this comes at a cost. Each time we relinquish more independence, we lose a little of our self-esteem and thus, a little of our quality of life.
How can we help our Seniors to retain their independence to the maximum degree, but still provide an invisible safety net to help them navigate the dangers and challenges of everyday life.
SeeSaw utilizes the most up-to-date technology to not only identify immediate dangers such as a fall or other medical emergency, but to gather and analyze real-world information to allow individuals, their family and caregivers to make better-informed, day-to-day decisions. A network of state-of-the-art sensors passively collects data throughout the living environment. By applying an advanced artificial intelligence technique pioneered by Care Daily, the data is analyzed to establish baselines of behavior that are constantly updated. In other words, it observes and learns about the environment and its occupants in a similar fashion to how roommates might learn each other’s regular habits over time. The ongoing process compares current data to the established baselines seeking to identify variations in behavior. Individual variations may not be indicative of problems in and of themselves, but when aggregated with other data, a larger, clearer picture emerges. Utilizing predictive analysis, the AI software is programmed to recognize if current readings or trends could represent danger and notify the primary caregiver(s) immediately for possible corrective measures.

Bringing senior communities and families together through technology

This intelligent system combines sensors in the home with artificial intelligence to learn daily lifestyle patterns and detect problems. It can alert staff, professional caregivers, and even emergency services of potential hazards, even when the emergency button is out-of-reach. Families are also coordinated to reach out daily, lowering isolation and loneliness.
